I Wanna Be Santa Claus er Ringo Starrs tolvte studioalbum og hans første julealbum. Den inneholder en cover at den lett absurde sangen «Christmas Time (Is Here Again)» som ble laget ad hoc av The Beatles til sine fans. Ellers er albumet delt mellom covre av kjente julesanger og egne komposisjoner. Starr var den siste av The Beatles som lagde et juleprosjekt som soloartist. Forsøket fikk flere gode tilbakemeldinger i media.
