Metachroma er en slekt av biller som tilhører familiegruppen bladbiller (Chrysomelidae).

Utseende[rediger | rediger kilde]

Nokså små (2 - 3 millimeter), tettbygde, blanke, brungule til svarte bladbiller, ofte med betydelig fargevariasjon innen artene. Antennene er noe over halvparten så lange som kroppen. Pronotum er avrundet, litt smalere enn dekkvingene, som er jevnbrede med fine punktrader.

Både larvene og de voksne (imago) er planteetere.

Utbredelse[rediger | rediger kilde]

Slekten er vidt utbredt i Amerika, med de fleste artene i Karibia og Nord-Amerika.
