Richard Bradley (født 18. november 1946 i Hampshire i England) er en britisk arkeolog spesialisert i europeisk forhistorisk tid, spesielt i Storbritannia i forhistorisk tid. Han jobber imidlertid som en professor innen arkeologi ved University of Reading. Han har også skrevet en del bøker om arkeologi og forhistorisk tid.

Magasinet British Archaeology skrev at Bradley var en av de mest respekterte arkeologene innen sitt felt.

Liv

Bradley ble født i Hampshire i 1946. Hans far var en metallurg i Royal Navy. Det var da han begynte på skolen han begynte å få en interesse for arkeologi, men studerte juss ved University of Oxford på 1960-tallet. Han deltok ikke i noen motkultur på den tiden. Da han var ferdig utdannet ville han ikke satse på juss. Han fokuserte på arkeologi, jobbet som amatør innen feltet, og skrev en rekke akademiske tekster (noen ble publisert i nasjonale journaler). Uten utdanning innen arkeologi, ble han i en alder av 25 år assistent lektor ved University of Reading.
