Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman (Tamil: சந்திரேசகர ெவங்கடராமன்) (født 7. november 1888, død 21. november 1970) var en indisk fysiker. Han ble tildelt Nobelprisen i fysikk i 1930 «for sitt arbeid med lysets spredning, og for effekten oppkalt etter ham».[1]
Raman ble professor i fysikk ved Universitetet i Calcutta i 1917. I 1929 ble han adlet ved utnevnelse til Knight Bachelor og fikk tiltaleformen Sir. I 1934 ble Raman leder for det indiske vitenskapsakademiet, og i 1947 leder for Raman Research Institute i Bangalore.
CV Raman var onkel av Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar, som også vant en nobelpris i fysikk.
