That's a very strange thing to say. How are international symbols, that have been in use for centuries, "mine"?

Since no:wp already uses unofficial planet symbols, for example at the utmerkede artikler Jupiter and Saturn, it looks like the decision has already been made, and is in favor of using them. You are saying that this image, presented as «a proposed symbol of Haumea. It's the invention of a private person, so it has no offical status or big usage», is an international symbol, that have been in use for centuries? For centuries!? For Haumea, discovered in 2004!? Don't be silly, of course not. Haumea was only discovered a few years ago. That has been used by NASA as the symbol for Haumea, and it's the most common symbol in astrological circles as well, if you give any weight to such things. But you were objecting to the symbol for 3 Juno, which has been in use since 1804, and that *is* centuries. Kwamikagami (diskusjon) 19. jan. 2022 kl. 08:31 (CET)

Dear Kwamikagami. Please excuse my first, harsh remarks. At first, I mistook you for one of those contrbutors who uses Wikipedia to market their own flag proposals and other OR. I should have looked more thoroughly into this before adressing you. On the other hand, the sources added to the files, is a good thing though.
