Siouxsie and the Banshees er et britisk band innen britisk alternativ rock og post-punk1980-tallet. Gruppa ble grunnlagt i 1976 av vokalist Siouxsie Sioux og bassist Steven Severin.

The Times har beskrevet Siouxsie and the Banshees som «et av de mest dristige og kompromissløse bandene i postpunk-perioden».[1] Gruppa ga ut sin første single, Hong Kong Garden, i august 1978, mens debutalbumet, The Scream, kom i november 1978.

Siouxsie and the Banshees har en fanskare som i tillegg til disse inneholder[klargjør] Joy Division,[2] The Cure,[3] The Smiths,[4] Radiohead,[5][6] U2,[7] Massive Attack,[8] og Bloc Party[9]. Bandet var en av inspirasjone til dannelsen og utviklingen til gothic rock-sjangeren. Musikken kombinerte elementer fra pop- og avant-garde-musikk. Siouxsie and the Banshees ble oppløst i 1996, og Sioux og trommeslager Budgie fortsatte sammen i bandet The Creatures. I 2004 startet Sioux en solokarriere.
