Multi User Dungeon (MUD)[1][2] er en form for tekstbasert flerspiller sanntidsrollespill på Internett, som spilles over den gamle Telnet-protokollen. MUD er en av de første formene for nettverksspill og forgjengeren til MMORPG.[3] MUDer kombinerer elementer fra rollespill, «hack and slash»-spill, PvP, og online chat.
