Kaldmathøytiden
Utseende
Kaldmathøytiden er en østasiatisk feiring markert i Kina, Korea og Vietnam, som finner sted like før den klare og lyse høytiden (qingming), og er en vårhøytid der en feirer nytt liv. Bortsett fra i skuddår ligger høytiden på den 5. april ifølge gregoriansk kalender, den 105. dagen etter vintersolverv (dongzhi).
Navnet viser til at en tradisjonelt ikke gjorde opp ild da, og bare spiste kald mat.[trenger referanse] Det kinesiske navnet på høytiden er hánshíjié (pinyin, 寒食節 på tradisjonelt og 寒食节 på forenklet kinesisk). På koreansk er den kjent som hansik og på vietnamesisk som Tết Hàn Thực.
