Edward Pigott (født 1753, død 1825) var en engelsk astronom.[1][2][3][4] Pigotts fokuserte sitt arbeid på variable stjerner. I 1784 informerte Pigott Royal Society om en oppdagelse av en ny variabel stjerne.[5] Denne stjernen var Eta Aquilae, som han hadde identifisert året før.[6]
Asteroiden 10220 Pigott er oppkalt etter Edward og hans far, astronomen Nathaniel Pigott
