«Drag the Waters» er en populær heavy metal-sang, skrevet av Pantera. Den dukket først opp på albumet The Great Southern Trendkill i 1996, og senere på bandets samlealbum, The Best of Pantera: Far Beyond the Great Southern Cowboys' Vulgar Hits!.
Dimebag Darrell har sagt at denne sangen "is about a lifetime of dealing with people that you can't tell what they're really comin' at you for, or what their motives really are. You've got to drag the waters to get to the bottom and find out the truth."[1]
«Drag the Waters» er en advarsel til lytterne om å alltid stille et spørsmål med folks motiv. Musikkvideoen starter opp med en advarsel fra en ukjent mann, som sier "In everyday life, there is more than meets the eye. To reach the depths of truth, we must drag the waters".
