Cyphochilus er en slekt av biller som har larver som eter planterøtter. De hører til undergruppen oldenborrer (Melolonthinae) i den store gruppen skarabider (Scarabaeoidea). Billene, i alle fall hannene, er kledt med skinnende hvite skjell, de blir hevdet å være de hviteste av alle dyr, og også hvitere enn noen hittil produserte, kunstige materialer. Dette skyldes skjellenes mikrostruktur.
Utseende

Levevis
