Adam Donaldson Powell (født 1954 i Buffalo i New York) er en amerikansk profesjonell billedkunstner og forfatter. Han har utgitt fjorten bøker, i henholdsvis: USA, Norge, India og Sverige foruten flere korte arbeider i skjønnlitterære blader i USA, Spania og Sør-Afrika. Han har også skrevet teaterstykker, oppført på scene i Norge. Adam kombinerer gjerne interessen for samfunns-/verdenspolitikk med kunst, og han har vært svært aktiv som kunst-/kulturdebattant, -skribent og -aktivist, med hovedfokus på verdenskunst, flerspråklighet, hiv/aids, det transkulturelle og mer.

Adam har tidligere vært profesjonell musiker i USA (klassisk pianist og cellist).

Adam har lest sine arbeider på engelsk, spansk, fransk og norsk, i bl.a. New York City, Oslo, Buenos Aires (2005)[4][død lenke] og Kathmandu ([5]Pilgrims Book House og [6]Gurukul Theatre i 2006).

Adams bøker kan kjøpes over hele verden, og finnes i samlingene til Deichmanske bibliotek og Nasjonalbibliotek.
