Daniel Lanois (født 19. september 1951) er en fransk-kanadisk musiker og musikkprodusent. Han har produsert album for en rekke artister som Bob Dylan, U2, Peter Gabriel, Robbie Robertson og Emmylou Harris, i tillegg til å utgi egen musikk.
Han startet karrieren sin med å produsere album for lokale band hjemme i Hamilton i Canada, mest kjent synth-bandet Martha and the Muffins, der hans søster spilte bass. Han ble oppdaget av Brian Eno og jobbet med Eno på noen av hans prosjekter, før Eno inviterte han med som co-produsent av U2s The Unforgettable Fire i 1984.
U2s Bono anbefalte Lanois til Bob Dylan på slutten av 80-tallet, og Lanois produserte Dylans Oh Mercy i 1989, som blir regnet som et av Dylans beste nye album. De samarbeidet også om Time Out Of Mind i 1997, som Dylan ble belønnet med en Grammy for.
Lanois spiller både gitar, dobro og piano, i tillegg til å skrive og synge sine egne sanger.
