Den amerikanske, kristne filosofen William Lane Craig (født 1949)

William Lane Craig (født 23. august 1949) er en amerikansk filosof, teolog, kristen apologet og historiker med Det nye testamentet i Bibelen som speisalfelt. Han er forfatter og foredragsholder innen temaer knyttet til religionsfilosofi, Jesus som mulig historisk person, kristnes syn på verden og «naturlig teologi».

Craig er gift og har to barn, bor i Atlanta i Georgia i USA, og er for tiden Research Professor of Philosophy ved Talbot School of Theology ved Biola University i La Mirada i California.

William L. Craig har blitt anklaget for å benytte sirkulære argumenter, og ugyldige premisser i sitt forsvar av kristendommen. Biologen Richard Dawkins, en av verdens mest profilerte ateister, har sagt han ikke ønsker å debattere med Craig om Guds eksistens. Dawkins har begrunnet dette med at et møte vil ta seg godt ut på Craigs CV, men mindre godt på hans egen.[1] Dr. Daniel Came, som er kollega av Dawkins ved University of Oxford kaller Dawkins holdning kynisk og anti-intelektuell.
