Martha Nussbaum

Martha Nussbaum (født Craven 6. mai 1947 i New York) er en fremtredende amerikansk filosof og Ernst Freund-professor i rettsvitenskap og etikk ved University of Chicago. Nussbaums spesialfelt er antikkens filosofi, spesielt Aristoteles, politisk filosofi og etikk.
Nussbaum ble i 2012 tildelt Fyrsten av Asturias' pris for samfunnsvitenskap.[1] I 2008 ble Nussbaum regnet blant de 100 fremste intellektuelle av tidsskriftet Foreign Policy.[2]
