Matthew Cox (født 9. juni 1998) er en snøbrettkjører fra Australia. Han deltok i slopestyle under Vinter-OL 2022 i Beijing, der han kom på 26.-plass.[1]
Idrettskarriere[rediger | rediger kilde]
Cox ble australsk juniormester i halfpipe i 2015, og han fikk bronse i slopestyle. Under VM i snøbrett 2019 kom han på 24.-plass i slopestyle, og under VM i freestyle og snøbrett 2021 kom han på 32.-plass i slopestyle og tiendeplass i big air.[2]
Han kom på 36.-plass sammenlagt i verdenscupen i 2019/20, og på 85.-plass i sesongen 2020/21.[1] I Australia og New Zealand Cup i snøbrett kom han på ellevteplass i halfpipe i 2016, han vant slopestylecupen i 2017.[3][4] I Australia og New Zealand cup 2019 kom han på femteplass i slopestylecupen og sjetteplass i big air, og i Australia og New Zealand cup 2020 kom han på 27.-plass i big air og 55.-plass i slopestyle, og endte på 85.-plass totalt i Park & Pipe.[5][6]
Under Vinter-OL 2022 kom han på 26.-plass i slopestyle.
