Platycorynus er en slekt av biller som tilhører familiegruppen bladbiller (Chrysomelidae).

Utseende[rediger | rediger kilde]

Middelsstore, avlange, glatte og blanke, skinnende metallisk fargede bladbiller. Antennene er tynne innerst, nokså kraftig utvidete mot spissen. Dekkvingene er litt bredere enn pronotum, som er avrundet firkantet. Dekkvingene er hvelvedc og rundede. Beina er middels lange og kraftige.

Både larvene og de voksne (imago) er planteetere.

Slekten er utbredt i Afrika og Asia.
