Caigentan (kinesisk: 菜根譚; pinyin: Càigēntán; Wade–Giles: Ts'ai-ken t'an, «Grønnsaksrotdiskurs») er en tekst fra 1590 skrevet av den kinesiske filosof og mandarin Hong Zicheng 洪自誠. Denne kompilasjonen av aforismer tar med elementer fra konfucianismen, daoismen og kinesisk buddhisme).
