Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur eller IIT Kharagpur er et statlig, teknisk universitet i India med campus i Kharagpur i delstaten Vest-Bengal, India, 120 km vest for Kolkata.
Det ble opprettet i 1950 som Eastern Higher Technical Institute, og fikk IIT-status i 1951. Dette lærestedet regnes som indias beste teknologiske universitet i 2007.[1]
Undervisningen fokuserer på teknologifag, er sammensluttet faglig sett med søsterinstitusjoner i byene Bombay, Guwahati, Kanpur, Delhi, Chennai, og Roorkee.
Studiene gis opp til doktorgradsnivå. Studenttallet er 5 340 og av disse er 2 400 høyere grads stdenter.

IIT-ene ble opprettet etter uavhengigheten i 1947 for å fremme den økonomiske og teknologiske utviklingen i India, og studentene kalles populært for IITitans.
