Eddie Schneider, holder of the junior trans-continental record and the youngest pilot entered in the 1930 National Air Tour, is shown receiving from D.V. Stratton, vice president of the Great Lakes Aircraft Corporation, the Great Lakes Trophy for ships less than 510 cubic inches displacement."
