I Holsts artikkel står det:

When the German armies invaded Norway on April 9, 1940, Rosseland was quick to realize that the Oslo analyzer might become a desirable research tool in the German war effort... After a short period of worrying about this prospect, and after considering several ways of making the machine inoperable, he personally removed all the precision fabricated integration wheels from the Oslo analyzer and rendered it useless. He buried the wheels in sealed packages in the garden behind the institute.

Dette er i motsetning til det som stod originalt i wikipedia-artikkelen, nemlig at den var størst fra 1938 til 1942. Har derfor fjernet denne informasjonen. -- Egilk 31. aug 2008 kl. 18:57 (CEST)
