Hello, I'm a French user and I'm making edits on Constance of Brittany-related pages in different languages. As I dont speak Norwegian, I can't write much here. My edits are mostly about dates and based on Michael Jones and Judith Everard's The Charters of Duchess Constacne of Brittany and her Family (1171-1221). Here are the main edits I mean to make:

  • Constance became Duchess of Brittany in 1166, when her father abdicated. Henry II Plantagenet rules until 1181, when she married Geoffrey.
  • Constance didn't abdicate, she included her son in the government of the Duchy, and kept using her titles (Duchess of Brittany and COuntess of Richmond) after this event. This took place in 1196, not 1194.
  • Constance married Guy of Thouars in 1199, between the 27th of August and October. The first mention of both Constance Guy dates back to October 1199 and in a charter made on August 27, 1201, Guy was still in his second regnal year.

If a Norwegian-speaking user can make edits about Constance's brother William and her supposed daughter Margaret of Thouars, it would be simply wonderful. I've already written about them on the English, French, Italian and Spanish articles but I simply can't make these edits in Norwegian.--Aziliz Breizh (diskusjon) 9. aug. 2016 kl. 18:14 (CEST)[svar]
