PZL
PZL (Państwowe Zakłady Lotnicze – Statlig flytilvirker) var en polsk flyprodusent underlagt statlig eie som eksisterte fram til 1989, da den ble oppbrutt i separate firmaer som fikk fullmakter for å bruke forkortelsen som hadde blitt et kjent polsk merke globalt sett. Helikopterprodusentfirmaet fikk firmanavnet PZL-Świdnik mens flyprodusentfirmaet fikk firmanavnet PZL Mielec. PZL var mot slutten av mellomkrigstiden kjent for sine fremragende jagerfly og andre fly med imponerende presentasjoner som PZL P.11, PZL.23 og PZL.37 Łoś.
I etterkrigstiden kom statsfabrikkene under kommunistisk kontroll først som WSK, deretter under den gamle forkortelsen som del av det store statlige konsernet Zjednoczenie Przemysłu Lotniczego i Silnikowego PZL (PZL fly- og motor industriunion). Blant de meste kjente flyene og helikoptre fram til 1989 da kommunismen falt, var PZL-Mielec TS-11 Iskra, PZL-104 Wilga og PZL W-3 Sokół.
