Mohamed Hassanein Heikal

Mohamed Hassanein Heikal (arabisk: محمد حسنين هيكل)) (født 1923) er en egyptisk forfatter og ledende journalist. Han var sjefredaktør i den Kairobaserte dagsavisen Al-Ahram i flere år, og har vært en respektert kommentator for hendelsene i Midtøsten-konflikten i mer enn 50 år.[1] Heikal artikulerte president Nassers tanker under hans regjeringstid,[2] men fortsatte av ukjente årsaker ikke med dette for hans etterfølger Anwar Sadat.
