Erasure er et britisk popband, som ble startet i 1985 av Vince Clarke, som etter suksess med Depeche Mode og Yazoo søkte etter vokalist til sitt nye prosjekt gjennom Melody Maker. Andy Bell var den 36. som forsøkte seg på audition, og Clarke lot seg overbevise. Erasure har frem til i dag solgt mer enn 30 millioner plater verden over.
Erasure består fortsatt av Vince Clarke (et arsenal analoge og digitale synthesizere og til tider gitar) og Andy Bell (vokal). Musikken skriver de i fellesskap.
