Svenn-Erik Mamelund (født 1969) er epidemiekspert med doktorgrad i demografi, og er ansatt som forsker ved Arbeidsforskningsinstituttet (AFI) ved OsloMet.[3]

Utdanning og arbeid

Mamelund tok graden Cand. Polit. i samfunnsgeografi i 1998, og Dr. Polit. i demografi i 2004.

Mamelund har i mange år studert epidemiske sykdommers demografi, med særlig fokus på influensapandemien Spanskesyken.

Mamelund har vært gjesteforsker ved Center for Demography and Ecology (CDE), University of Wisconsin-Madison i 2001, Centrum for Befolkningsstudier, Umeå Universitet i tidsrommet 2006–2009, og Penn State University i 2008.

Mamelund er ansatt som forsker ved Arbeidsforskningsinstituttet (AFI) ved OsloMet, hvor han har studert helsemessige konsekvenser av reorganisering og arbeidsplasskonflikter, og effekter av ulike forsøk i regi av Arbeids- og sosialdepartementet.

Mamelund har vært leder for Norsk demografisk forening siden april 2017.[3]
