This Cobalt-60 container was made by Spectrum Techniques LLC and the actual Cobalt-60 was created at Oak Ridge. It was offered by the United Nuclear radioactive isotope page. It emits 0.4 TBq and 10.8 Ci. At the surface of the disk 0.5 mili rad per hour at the surface of the plastic container. This is such a minor amount of Co-60 that it is not regulated by the NRC and and is permitted by the NRC to be disposed of with conventional waste containers as long as all radiation symbols are removed. This is in a personal collection and is a unique Image.
