Gustave Reese

Gustave Reese (født 29. november 1899 i New York City; død 7. september 1977 Berkeley) var en amerikansk musikkviter.

Reese underviste hovedsakelig i New York. Forskningen hans dreide seg mest om middelalder- og renessansemusikk. Hans viktigste publikasjoner var Music in the Middle Ages (1940) og Music in the Renaissance (1954). Begge verkene hører selv i dag til de fremste på sine respektive felt.
