John W. Witek (født 13. september 1933 i Chicago i USA, død 31. januar 2010 i Washington, D.C.) var en amerikansk katolsk prest og sinolog tilhørende jesuittordenen.

Han trådte inn i jesuittordenen i 1952.

I 1934 tok han mastergrad i østasiatisk historie ved Loyola University i Chicago, og tok doktorgraden i 1973 ved Georgetown University i Washington D.C. Deretter ble han «assistant professor» ved Xavier University i Cincinnati. To år etter vendte han tilbake til Georgetown University, og virket der til sin død.
