Al Zubarah

Al Zubarah er en liten by i Ash-Shamal kommune i Qatar, om lag 105 km fra hovedstaden Doha. Stedet var tidligere maktsenteret for familiedynastiet Al-Khalifa, som i dag hersker over kongedømmet Bahrain. I 1937 ble byen tatt over av familien Al Thani fra Qatar, og forble del av Qatar etter frigjøringen fra Storbritannia i 1971.
Al Zubarah er kjent for sitt fort som ble bygget i 1938 etter ordre fra Abdu'llah bin Qasim Al-Thani. Fortet ble pusset opp og omgjort til museum i 1987.
