Sophia of Nassau to the left of the king and to the left of her is Prince Carl, Duke of Västergötland and the crying Princess Ingeborg of Denmark. To the right is Prince Gustaf Adolf.
Svenska: Oscar II håller tal på trappan till Rosendals slott på Djurgården i samband med unionsupplösningen 1905. T.v. om kungen sitter drottning Sofia och ytterligare t.v. står prins Carl och den gråtande prinsessan Ingeborg. T.h. återfinns prins Gustaf Adolf.
