English: Hugh Richardson mounted on a horse. He is wearing a Tibetan fur-lined coat (chuba), a fur hat with ear flaps and a scarf wound round his neck. There is a Tibetan carpet saddle on the leather saddle of his horse. His horse was named "Maru" for which he had a great fondness.
