The Girl I Left Behind Me

The Girl I Left Behind Me, også kjent som The Girl I Left Behind, er en gammel folkemelodi. Den kan ha vært kjent i Amerika så tidlig som i 1650-årene under navnet Brighton Camp, men i alle fall var den kjent i Irland som The Rambling Labourer og The Spailpin Fanach, og ble først publisert i trykket form i Dublin i 1791.

Den har mange variasjoner og vers. Her er ett eksempel:
