REX - Regional Express Saab 340A VH-KDK at Burnie Airport, Tasmania. Named City of Mt Gambier this was the first Saab 340 aircraft to fly in the Southern Hemisphere (with Kendell Airlines) and has always operated in Australia in this registration since new (Feb 1985), eventually this great icon which has served a total of 5 states of regional areas in Australia for over 21 years will be replaced with a Saab 340B plus in 2008.
