Beskrivelse

English: This is seal of Siam designed by Prince Naris as modification of former seal. This seal was used by King Chulalongkorn as royal emblem. This emblem is used occasionally if the new king is not yet crowned. In coronation, the new emblem is created by using this seal as template, then add king's ceremonial name around it. Now, this seal is used as template for making modernized emblem of Thailand.

ไทย: พระราชลัญจกรพระครุฑพ่าห์ในพระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาจุฬาลงกรณ์ฯ พระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว ซึ่งพระเจ้าบรมวงศ์เธอ เจ้าฟ้าจิตรเจริญ กรมพระยานริศรานุวัดติวงศ์ ทรงสร้างถวายแทนตราองค์เดิมที่ดูรุ่มร่าม ให้แลดูง่ายขึ้น โดยเขียนเป็นรูปพระครุฑพ่าห์องค์เดียว กางกรสยายปักษ์กลางพื้นลายเปลวไฟ ปัจจุบันตรานี้ใช้สำหรับกำกับพระบรมนามาภิไธยสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวที่ยังไม่ผ่านพระราชพิธีบรมราชาภิเษก ซึ่งถ้าผ่านพระราชพิธีนี้และสถาปนาขึ้นเป็นพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ก็จะได้ทำตราใหม่ ซึ่งลอกแบบตรานี้ แต่เพิ่มพระนามรอบตรา ปัจจุบันตรานี้ได้กลายเป็นแบบของการสร้างตราพระครุฑพ่าห์รูปแบบต่าง ๆ ทั้งในภาพวาดและในสื่ออื่น ๆ
