Dmitri Nikolaevich Smirnov (russisk: Дми́трий Никола́евич Смирно́в, Dmitri Nikolaevisj Smirnov; født 2. november 1948, født i Minsk i Sovjetunionen, død 9. april 2020 i London), også kjent som Dmitri N. Smirnov, var en russiskfødt britisk komponist. Hans best kjente verker var Tiriel og The Lamentations of Thel.

Hans Solo for Harp vant førstepremie i komposisjon i Maastricht (1976). Hans to operaer Tiriel og Thel med tekst av William Blake hadde premiere i 1989. Hab var Composer-in-Residence ved University of Cambridge (St John's College), i Dartington, og Visiting Professor ved Keele University (1993–8).

Foruten operaer skrev han symfonier, strykekvartetter og annen kammermusikk, og vokalmusikk til oratorier. Han var inspirert av William Blake.

Smirnov døde av COVID-19 den 9. april 2020 i London i en alder av 71 år.[6]
