Anschluss[rediger kilde]

After the Anschluss in 1938, Austria was a part of Germany (Ostmark), therefore Wilhelm Walch, Josef Jennewein and Helga Gödl (who were Austrians) did win their medals for the Deutsches Reich (and those medals do still count for Germany). Another Austrian, Hellmuth Lantschner, did change to Germany in 1935 and was a German citizen.
