White Star Line

White Star Line var et tidligere britisk rederi som blant annet eide søsterskipene RMS «Britannic», RMS «Olympic» og RMS «Titanic», Sistnevnte skip kolliderte på jomfruturen med et isfjell og sank i 1912. Rederiet ble startet av John Pilkington og Henry Threlfall Wilson i Liverpool 1845. White Star Line ble slått sammen med Cunard Line 10. mai 1934. I 1947 kjøpte Cunard Line de siste delene av White Star Line og ble eneeier.
