Verdens dyrevernorganisasjon

Verdens dyrevernorganisasjon, World Society for the Protection of Animals (forkortet WSPA), er en internasjonal dyrevernsorganisasjon. WSPA ble opprettet i 1981 da to tidligere organisasjoner ble sammenslått: World Federation for the Protection of Animals (WFPA), som ble opprettet i 1953, og International Society for the Protection of Animals (ISPA), som ble opprettet i 1959. Organisasjonen har konsultativ status i FNs økonomiske og sosiale råd.[1]
