Sphenomorphus er en artsrik slekt av skinker. De forekommer i det sørlige Asia fra India og Sri Lanka til Sør-Kina, Filippinene og Ny-Guinea, og i Mellom-Amerika.
Slekten er blitt brukt som et oppsamlingstaxon, og The Reptile Database oppgir 150 gyldige arter. Disse artene er ikke nødvendigvis spesielt nært beslektet, og i framtida vil nok mange arter bli flyttet til nye slekter.
