Peter Singer

Peter Albert David Singer (født 6. juli 1946 i Melbourne) er en australsk moralfilosof av østerriksk-jødisk opprinnelse. Han regnes som utilitarist og er særlig kjent som en tilhenger av eutanasi. Singer er svært kontroversiell i mange miljøer.[trenger referanse] Han er professor ved Princeton-universitetet i USA.
Singer ble i 2012 utnevnt til følgesvenn (Companion, AC) av Australiaordenen for sin innsats innen bioetikk og filosofi.[1]
