Newbery-medaljen (engelsk: The John Newbery Medal) er en litteraturpris som utdeles hvert år av American Library Association til en forfatter for en utmerket barnebok. Newbery-medaljen har vært utdelt siden 1922. Sammen med Caldecott-medaljen regnes den som USAs mest prestisjefylte pris for barnebokforfattere. Prisen er oppkalt etter John Newbery, utgiver av ungdomsbøker på syttenhundretallet.
Selve medaljen var designet av Rene Paul Chambellan i 1921. Baksiden viser en forfatter som gir en bok til en gutt og en jente.
