Michael Wayne «Mike» Campbell (født 1. februar 1950) er en amerikansk gitarist, låtskriver og plateprodusent. Han er kjent for sitt arbeid med Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers hvor han var gitarist fra starten i 1976 frem til Tom Petty sin død i 2017.[4]

Før The Heartbreakers ble dannet spilte han i Mudcrutch sammen med Tom Petty og Benmont Tench.

Han har spilt på album til mange andre kjente artister som Stevie Nicks, Bob Dylan og på Johnny Cash Unchained og American III, IV og V.

Ved siden av the Heartbreakers spilte og sang han i bandet The Blue Stingrays som ga ut et album, Surf-N-Burn, i 1997. Sener, i 2000, dannet han the Dirty Knobs, etter Petty sin død har Campbell prioritert dette bandet mer og de ga ut sin første album, Wreckless Abandon, i 2020. Nok et album kom i 2020, External Combustion.[5][6]

I 2011 rangerte magasinet Rolling Stone Mike Campbell til den 79. beste gitaristen gjennom tidene.[7]
