James Ransone (født 2. juni 1979 i Baltimore i Maryland) er en amerikansk skuespiller. Han er mest kjent for rollene han gjorde som Ziggy Sobotka i 2. sesong av The Wire og som Korporal Josh Ray Person i HBO serien Generation Kill, som omhandler 2003 invasjonen av Irak.
