Bill Johnson (født 1951[1]) er en amerikansk forfatter og pastor. Han er hovedpastor i menigheten Bethel Church i Redding, California sammen med sin kone Brenda (Beni) Johnson.
Johnson er femte generasjonen av pastore i sin familie[2].

Johnson ble født i Minnesota i 1951 og ble frelst som ungdom. Like etter dette leste han syv bøker om bønn, som gjorde et sterkt inntrykk på han og fikk stor betydning for hans kristne tjeneste[3].
Johnsons far, Melvin Earl Johnson (1929-2004[4]) var hovedpastor i Bethel Church, Redding fra 1968-1982[1] og ble senere leder i Northern California/Nevada District Council of the Assemblies of God[5] Earl Johnson hadde fire barn.[6].
Bill Johnson og hans kone begynte som hjelpepastorer i Bethel, Redding før de var gift. I 1979 ble de hovedpastorer i Mountain Chapel i Weaverville, California[7]. Etter 17 år, i februar 1996, vendte de tilbake til Bethel Church som hovedpastorer[8].
