Alma Cogan

Alma Angela Cohen (Alma Cogan, født 19. mai 1932 i London, død 26. oktober 1966) var en engelsk popartist på 1950- og 60-tallet.

Cogans første innspilling var «Red Silken Stockings», men hennes første utgivelse var singelen «To Be Worthy Of You» / «Would You» som ble spilt inn på hennes 20-års-dag i 1952. I 1953 spilte Cogan inn «If I Had A Golden Umbrella» og hun begynte å le. Hun brukte latteren også på senere innspillinger, og ble av den grunn senere kjent som «The girl with the giggle in her voice». Cogans første LP («I Love to Sing») ble utgitt i 1958.
